Kieron Freeman is a defender of Derby County. He was born on 21 March 1992 in Arnold, England.
Kieron spent last years of youth career in the academy of Nottingham Forest. Having been a promising trainee, the footballer had always attracted great attention of the coaching staff and the club manager, who decided that Freeman was ready for a professional start in 2011. The defender penned his first senior contract with the club, but failed to make any appearances for it, as he was sent on loan at once.
In November 2011, Kieron joined Mansfield Town on an emergency one-month loan deal, which was extended for another two months. The footballer took part in nine games for the temporary team during three months and went on loan to Notts County, where he featured in 19 matches and fired one goal during his spell.
In August 2012, Freeman put pen to paper of a two-year contract with Championship side Derby County and made his début on 3 November 2012 in the 4-1 victory over Blackpool, where he came on as a late substitute. The defender made three appearances for ‘The Rams’ as of December 2012.
From 2009 till 2011, Kieron was capped 14 times for the Wales national U-17, U-19 and U-21 squads.
