A Spanish footballer Francisco Femenía Far, aka Kiko, plays as a winger for Barcelona B. He was born on 2 February 1991.
Francisco started his junior career in 2000, when he entered the academy of Beniarbeig. In 2001, the young player was scouted by FB Dénia, where he was groomed during the following three years. Nevertheless, the last years of his junior career Femenía spent at the youth department of Hércules.
In 2008, Francisco was promoted to the senior level. He was selected to play for the B team. He understood that a place in the starting line-up wasn’t to be given at once and he would have to train hard to get promotion to the main squad. His diligence and talent were soon noticed and he started to make occasional appearances for the main team of Hércules. Kiko became official member of the senior side in 2009, when he was still 18. He produced a magnificent performance, helping the club take place in La Liga. His top division debut took place on 28 August 2010 in a game with Athletic Bilbao. Altogether, Francisco netted four goals in 71 fixtures for the Alicante side.
On 6 July 2011, Kiko moved to Barcelona for a fee of €2 million. He was assigned to play for the reserve team. Francisco debuted for the new squad on 4 September 2011, scoring his first goal to FC Cartagena.
On international level, Kiko earned eleven caps for the Spain national youth team at U-18, U-19 and U-20 level.
