A Turkish footballer Köksal Yedek pays as a midfielder for Elazığspor. Yedek was born on 17 January 1985 in Nevşehir.
In 1999, Köksal entered the academy of Zeytinburnuspor and his career started off. He spent three years at the youth department, where he studied football and got his first performing experience. In 2001, Yedek penned a pro contract with the club and he started a new stage of his career. He debuted for the team on 13 April 2003 in a match against Kırklarelispor. His first goal was netted on 22 February in a game with Gebzespor.
In 2005, the player had a season-long spell at Kayserispor. In 2007, Köksal served loan to Şanlıurfaspor and then returned to the former club Kayserispor for a short period of time. In 2009, the midfielder was hired by Karşıyaka Spor Kulübü. His debut for the new team took place on 23 August 2009 in a match against Adanaspor. In 2010, Yedek scored his first goal for the squad in a match with Altay SK.
The 2010/2011 season would find him defending Erciyesspor. He produced quite a successful performance and was scouted by Elazığspor. The midfielder was handed the number 11 shirt at the new club.
