Kristian Arran Commons is a footballer, who plays for Celtic as a winger. He was born in 1983 in England and graduated from the academy of Stoke City. He joined the first team and made his debut on 16 October 2001 in a 2-3 loss at Blackpool. Shortly after that Commons picked up a serious injury, which kept his aside for a year. In the 2002/03 season he returned on the field, made his first appearance in that season on 26 August 2002 and featured in 46 matches throughout the season.
In July 2004 Commons arrived at Nottingham Forest and on 25 August he debuted in a 2-0 win over Scunthorpe United. In the summer of 2008 he completed a move to Derby County signing a three-year contract and throughout his first season, despite several injuries, he was used regularly and scored 5 goals. In 2009/10 he helped the team to avoid relegation.
Commons penned a three-and-a-half-year deal with Celtic on 28 January 2011. Immediately after that he made his debut, which he marked with a goal. It was the League Cup semi-final match, ended in 4-1 win against Aberdeen.
Kris Commons is a Scottish international. He made his first appearance in the match against Northern Ireland in August 2008.
