Krisztián Németh is a striker of Roda JC. He was born on 5 January 1989 in Győr, Hungary.
Krisztián’s career took off in local youth Győri, from where he moved to MTK Budapest two years later. The striker amassed 18 goals in 37 matches and propelled his club to the silver medals of the 2006/2007 Hungarian National Championship I, which drew the attention of various European teams.
In the summer 2007, Németh penned a three-year deal with English side Liverpool. The footballer netted two goals for the reserve team of the club in his début match versus Manchester City, but the management decided to send him on loan to Blackpool, where the player became a regular and made his first appearance on 27 January 2009 in the home game against QPR. However, the striker failed to impress the fans of his temporary team, because he was injured and left the field one minute after his coming on the pitch. The following season, Krisztián went on loan to Greek side AEK, where he took part in 12 fixtures and went on to net three times.
After the end of his temporary spell, the footballer transferred to Olympiacos, but failed to clinch a regular place and completed a loan move to Olympiacos Volos. Németh was suspected of bribetaking and fired from the club.
In November 2011, the striker returned to Hungarian side MTK, this time on loan, and fired one goal in one appearance for the team during six months. In January 2012, Krisztián finalized a temporary move to RKC Waalwijk, where he went on to net three times in 14 fixtures.
In July 2012, Roda JC secured the footballer’s services on a permanent two-year deal.
