Kwadwo Asamoah is a Ghanaian midfielder currently playing for the Italian heavyweights Juventus in the Serie A. He was born on 9 December 1988 in Accra, Ghana.
As a youth Kwadwo played for a Swiss side AC Bellinzona and Italian club Torino. In 2008, he signed his first professional contract with Udinese. He shortly established himself as a regular in the starting lineup and made a total of 134 appearances in all competitions for the club. Kwadwo’s strong performances at Udinese sparked interest of top Italian clubs. Thus, the giants Juventus snapped up Asamoah from Udinese in July 2012 and the Ghanaian midfielder plays there today. He was part of the team who won the Italian Super Cup in 2012.
Kwadwo Asamoah is capped to the Ghana national team since 2006. He helped his side to win bronze and silver medals in the Africa Cup of Nations in 2008 and 2010 respectively. For his terrific performances Asamoah was named the Most Promising African Player in 2010.
