Zhi Gin Andreas Lam is a German footballer of Chinese origin who currently plays for Hamburger SV. He was born on June 4, 1991 in Hamburg, Germany.
Zhi launched his career with VfL Lohbrügge. In 2001 he moved to the youth team of SV Nettelnburg-Allermöhe. After four seasons with the club he decided to join HSV`s youth academy. In 2010 he finally broke into the senior squad after coming through the club`s youth ranks. But he failed to make a single appearance.
On September 23, 2011 Zhi made his league debut under the stewardship of a new manager. The team secured a 2-1 victory. Since then he has got a regular place in the team. Later on, he got a slight injury that plonked him on the bench. He scored a total of 4 goals for the reserves but never for his senior team.
On November 2011 the right back was selected for the Germany national U20 squad but he hasn`t made any first-team appearance so far.
