Landry N’Guémo is a defensive midfielder at Bordeaux. He was born on 28 November 1985 in a Cameroonian city Yaoundé.
Landry’s career at a youth club began in 2001. Landry entered Nancy football academy where he spent four years. During that time Landry was successfully featuring for the club’s youth team and attending the academy.
In 2005 Landry received an offer to sign a professional contract with Nancy. The footballer signed a long-term contract with the club.
Landry actively participated in the club’s matches. The Cameroonian footballer was always included in the club’s first team being a very important and reliable player for the coach. During the time spent at the professional club Landry appeared in 130 matches scoring 5 goals.
In 2009 Landry moved to the Scottish club Celtic where he was to stay after the loan period. Despite the fact that at the end of the 2009/10 season Landry moved back to France he featured in all matches of the club helping Celtic to win the national championship.
Playing the last matches for Nancy in the 2010/11 season Landry fell to get offers from Ligue 1 clubs.
In the summer of 2011 Landry signed a three-year contract with Bordeaux. The head coach began inserting the Cameroonian in the starting lineup occasionally replacing him with younger footballers.
Landry has been featuring for The Cameroon national football team, for which he has already played 28 matches scoring 3 goals.
