Lars Stindl was born on 26 August 1988 in Speyer, Germany.
He began his midfielder career at TSV Wiesental where he played until 2000. Aged 12, Lars joined Karlsruher SC which can be by right called his feeder club. After 7 years on youth side for Karlsruher, Stindl progressed to the reserve squad where he appeared in 49 games, scoring 11 goals in 2007-2009 seasons. In fact, beginning from 2008, he was a bit-part player for the first team, until eventually he made his Bundesliga debut for Karlsruher SC in a match against Eintracht Frankfurt on 15 March 2008. On 29 November 2008, he fired his maiden ball to Hannover 96’s goal, not even assuming the forthcoming move to this club in 2010. Overall, he struck 13 goals in 56 appearances for Karlsruher.
Stindl signed a three-year contract with a new club in 2010, but in April 2012 it was extended up to 2016. He scored his maiden goal for Hannover 96 on 20 November 2010, amassing all in all 3 goals in 53 games for the Reds.
Lars Stindl earned his first call-up to the Germany national U-21 team on 11 August 2009, but displayed a goalless play then. For the time being, it is the only match with his performance at the national level.
It’s noteworthy that Stindl is a tireless defender of rights and freedoms of poor African families and takes part in different aid programs to orphans and the needy.
