Lasse Schöne is a Danish football player who plays for Ajax. Schöne was born on 27 May 1986 in the city of Glostrup, starting playing football in the local youth team Himmelev-Veddelev BK. After changing several youth clubs, including B70 and Lyngby BK, in 2002 the midfielder joined the youth team of the Dutch club SC Heerenveen, where he spent 4 seasons. In 2002 Schöne penned a deal with the Eerste Divisie team De Graafschap that he helped to earn promotion to the top flight, totaling 70 appearances and scoring 12 goals in two seasons.
In 2008 the player was signed by NEC Nijmegen, where he stayed till 2012, making 101 appearances and scoring 22 goals during the spell. Schöne was awarded “Player of the season” title by the fans, the award that he also got in Graafschap.
In the April of 2012 Lasse Schone completed a three-year contract with Ajax.
The international career of the midfielder includes caps for different national youth teams. On 12 August 2009 Schome successfully debuted in the national side, netting a ball less than a minute after appearing from the substitution’s bench.
