Laurent Delorge is a Belgian midfielder born on 21 July 1979 in Leuven.
Laurent performed for various youth teams at an early age, but his professional career took off in AA Gent, when the footballer was 19. Delorge made ten appearances and fired five goals for the club during his first season.
In the winter 1999, the midfielder penned a contract with English side Coventry City, and his début for the team came on 29 January 2000 in the Football League Cup match against Charlton Athletic, where Laurent came on as a substitute. The footballer took part in 30 fixtures and found the net four times for the club during three seasons.
At the beginning of 2002, Delorge transferred to Belgian side Lierse SK and sealed a three-year deal with the team. His first appearance for the new club came on 9 August 2003 in the away 1-0 victory over Charleroi. The midfielder amassed 11 goals in 67 matches for Lierse till 2005, when he finalized a move to Anderlecht. However, the footballer was fired on 17 February 2006 due to his presumptive connection to match-fixing.
The same year, Laurent moved to Dutch side ADO Den Haag and made his Eredivisie début on 19 August 2006 in the home game against Heerenveen. After his contract expired, the player put pen to paper of a two-year contract with Amsterdam side Ajax, but featured only in five matches and went on to net one time during his spell.
In the winter 2009, Roda JC secured Delorge’s services on a three-and-a-half-year contract. The midfielder’s first coming on the pitch for the new club came on 18 January 2009 in the home 1-1 draw with PSV Eindhoven. Laurent made 99 appearances and chipped in seven goals for Roda JC during four years.
In 2013 Delorge retired from professional football.
