Lazar Marković is a striker, born on 2 March 1994 in Čačak, Serbia.
Lazar joined the academy of Serbian side Partizan at the age of 12. It took the future footballer five years to perfect his skills and give a final touch to all the preparations for a professional start.
In 2011, Marković put pen to paper of his first senior contract and made his competitive début in the SuperLiga match against Sloboda Užice. In August the same year, the striker fired his first goal in the game versus FK Novi Pazar. Lazar made 46 appearances and netted 13 goals for Partizan before completing a move to Benfica in the summer 2013. One uear later he was lured to FC Liverpool.
From 2009 till 2011, the footballer took part in eight fixtures for the Serbia national U-17 squad. From 2011, he has been capped two times for the Serbia U-21 team. From 2012, Marković has featured for the full national squad.
