Lee Barnard is a striker, born on 18 July 1984 in Romford, England.
In 2002 Barnard graduated from the academy of Tottenham and penned a contract with the club, but was immediately sent on loan to Exeter City, where he made three appearances during a part of the season. In 2004 Lee continued his loan performance in Stevenage Borough and netted one goal in four games of the temporary club during six months. In the summer the same year, Barnard moved to Leyton Orient, but his status remained the same and he still played on loan.
In 2005 Lee completed a six-month move to Northampton Town and featured in three games. In 2007 the footballer went on a season-long loan to Crew Alexandra, where he made ten appearances and chipped in three goals.
In 2008 Barnard ended his Tottenham career with Southend United move. Lee played for the club during two years and managed to develop into a full-grown striker during his spell, which helped the footballer to become self-confident again. The Englishman showed the power that slumbered in him even in the academy and amassed 37 goals in 75 fixtures for the club.
In 2010 Barnard left Southend United and transferred to Southampton. The striker kicked 23 goals in 62 fixtures for ‘The Saints’ till the summer 2012, when he was sent on loan to Bournemouth and later to Southend United. In 2014 he penned a permanent deal with Southend United.
