Lee Grant is a goalkeeper of Burnley. He was born on 27 January 1983 in Hemel Hempstead, England.
Lee spent two years at the academy of Watford and started his professional performance in 2000. The footballer penned his first senior contract with Derby County, but failed to become a first-choice goalkeeper of the club. In 2005, Grant went on loan to Burnley and made one appearance for ‘The Clarets’ during his spell. In 2006, he sealed a temporary deal with Oldham Athletic and took part in 16 fixtures for the team during six months. After returning to his parent Derby County, Lee took his tally to 74 matches by 2007.
In July 2007, the footballer put pen to paper of a contract with Sheffield Wednesday and became the pivot of the new club at once, which helped him to feature in 136 games during three seasons.
In 2010, Burnley secured Grant’s services and saw him make 95 appearances as of January 2013.
From 2000 till 2004, the goalie was capped 22 times for the England national U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19 and U-21 squads.
