A Brazilian footballer Leonardo Silva Vieira acts as a goalkeeper for São Paulo. Vieira was born on 22 September 1990 in Suzano.
In 2000, Leonardo entered the academy of Portuguesa de Desportos. He spent there four years and joined São Paulo, where the last years of his junior career were spent. The young footballer was happy to get the place, where he favorite footballer Rogério Ceni performs. In 2005, the goalkeeper got the taste of trophy-winning, when the club came first in the Campeonato Paulista. In 2006, Silva won the Dallas Cup under the club’s flag. In 2007, Leo grabbed his first professional contract.
In 2006, the goalkeeper made his international debut for the Brazil U-16 team in a match against Bolivia. In 2007, Silva was capped for the U-17 team. He featured in a game with Ecuador.
