Lex Immers is a forward of Feyenoord. He was born on 8 June 1986 in The Hague, Netherlands.
Lex performed for many teams in his youth, but his first club was LENS. The footballer started to play at the position of a midfielder and stayed with the team for some time before moving to DSO, where he did not spend much time as well. Immers completed a move to Vredenburch and performed for the club till he was noticed by ADO Den Haag scouts in mid 2000s’.
Lex’s professional début came in an Eredivisie match in 2007. One week after his first senior appearance, the management of the club decided to extend the forward’s contract for another two years.
Immers became the pivot of the club and was renowned for his love for it. The footballer featured in 153 matches and netted 28 goals for ADO Den Haag during five years. However, on 5 June 2012, Lex sealed a four-year deal with Rotterdam side Feyenoord, which paid approximately €1 million for the striker. The player had a good start in the 2012/2013 season, as he managed to find the net five times in seven games for the new club.
