Li Xuepeng is a Chinese football player who currently represents Dalian Aerbin. He is capable of playing in midfield as well as being a commanding centre-back. The player was born on September 18, 1988 in Dalian, China.
At 12 Li Xuepeng began his academy scholarship with Dalian Shide. He came through all the age groups in the club’s academy before stepping up into the main team. In 2007 the utility player penned his first full-time contract with Dalian Shide. On August 9, 2007 he was handed a senior start against Qingdao Zhongneng. He grabbed his first goal on November 4, 2007 in the match against Hangzhou Greentown.
At the end of the 2007 campaign Li Xuepeng embarked on a loan spell at Citizen AA where he appeared on the field only once. In the 2009 season the footballer helped Dalian Shide claim the eighth place in the Chinese Super League. Since 2013 he has played for Dalian Aerbin.
Li Xuepeng’s brilliant performance for the club earned him a call-up for China. On June 4, 2010 he made his first international bow against France.
