Lior Jan was born on 20 August 1986 in Israel. Jan plays as a midfielder, besides he can be used as a defender.
Lior emerged through the youth system of Maccabi Tel Aviv. In 2004, when the footballer came of age, he was offered a move to the main team. During seven years Jan took part in 125 matches and netted 8 goals for Maccabi Tel Aviv.
In 2010 the player was loaned to Hapoel Be’er Sheva for a season. During the 2010/2011 campaign Jan made 19 appearances and scored 1 goal.
In July 2011 Lior Jan transferred to Hapoel Haifa. The Israeli footballer played as a defensive midfielder for his new team. Jan finished the 2011/2012 season with only 2 appearances for Hapoel Haifa.
In 2012 the footballer joined Hapoel Petah Tikva. After one season with the club he switched for Maccabi Netanya.
From 2002 to 2008 Jan featured for the Israel national teams of different ages. From 2006 to 2008 the footballer scored 1 goal in 26 matches for the Israel national U-21 team. It has been the most successful stage of his international career so far.
