Lloyd Doyley is a defender of Watford. He was born on 1 December 1982 in Whitechapel, England.
Lloyd spent last two years of his junior career in the academy of Watford, which welcomed him in 1999. The footballer trained really hard, because he wanted to clinch a place in the main team of the club and make a professional start, which was possible only after a series of tests. In 2001, the head coach gave Doyley a high appraisal, and the defender got ready for a move to the first squad.
The same year, Lloyd was given a place in the full team, where he began to adapt to the football world. The player did not become the pivot at once, but he tried to use every appearance to the maximum in order to show his imperious form and defensive skills.
Year by year, Doyley made more starts and eventually became one of anchor defenders. The Englishman took part in 342 fixtures and found the net two times for Watford during 11 years.
