A French footballer Loïc Perrin plays as a midfielder for AS Saint-Étienne.
His childhood was devoted to athletics and football but finally he opted for football. He appeared on the pitch for the first time as a member of a local team FC Périgneux. Then over a period of four years Loïc starred for FC St. Charles la Vigilante. By the age of 12 he finished his education and signed his first professional contract with AS Saint-Étienne.
After Julien Sablé left the squad Perrin was named captain for the 2007/08 season.
On 31 August 2011 during the Coupe de la Ligue match against Bordeaux the player suffered rupture of crucial ligaments. Due to that he could not play for six months. Several physical problems followed which darkened the player’s successful career. On 31 March 2012 Loïc returned to his club having appeared as a substitute in the 64th minute of the league match against OGC Nice.
