Loris Néry plays at the position of defender for Valenciennes FC.
The player began his football career playing for Saint-Étienne. In the 2010/11 season he featured in 14 club matches. The club’s management placed great hopes on the young player and supposed the team would benefit from Loris’ performance.
On 8 April 2011 he was capped for the France national team in order to appear in the friendly match against Slovakia.
In the ensuing season the defender’s career developed not so successfully even though he opened Ligue 1 match as a starter. Moreover, by the end of the season Albin Ebondo returned to the Saint-Étienne. As a result Néry was deprived of his place. That also happened due to the fact that Fauzi Gulam aspired to his position. After Loris had featured in 10 matches including the Coupe de France Final he decided to leave the club.
At the end of the season the player moved to Valenciennes which paid €800 thousand for Néry.
