Louis Carey is a defender of Bristol City. He was born on 22 January 1977 in Bristol, England.
Louis gave the final touch to all the preparations for a professional start and took his skills to the decent level in the academy of Bristol City. In 1995, the footballer graduated from the youth system and penned his first senior contract with the club.
At first, Carey started to make occasional appearances, which helped him to gain the initial playing experience and become more confident. However, the defender managed to prove he was very capable and talented, and the manager gave him an opportunity to come on the pitch more often. Louis took part in 332 fixtures and netted five goals for ‘The Robins’ during nine years.
In 2004, the footballer sealed a deal with Coventry City and featured in 21 matches for the new team during six months, but failed to become a pivot.
In 2005, Bristol City decided to secure Carey’s services in order to see his excellent display again. The defender accepted the offer and fired seven goals in 229 games for ‘The Robins’ as of February 2013, which means he has made more than 500 appearances for the club in total.
