A Brazilian footballer Lucas Rodrigues Moura da Silva plays for São Paulo as an attacking midfielder. He was born on 13 August 1992.
Lucas spent his junior career at the academies of such clubs as Juventus and Corinthians. But the last five years of his youth career passed at the youth department of São Paulo. There the young midfielder finally got ready to perform at the senior level. In 2010, Moura switched to the club’s main squad. He didn’t clinch into the first eleven at once, as the team was full of experienced players able to make good performance at the professional level. Nevertheless, Lucas kept on training ground and within some time he started to get more playing time. He’s already featured in more than 70 matches as the squad’s starter.
He has been chased by many European big clubs, but it was PSG who provided the bid worth 45 million euros for the teenager. He started performing for the French club in January 2013.
In 2010, his international career started off. He used to play for the Brazil national youth team at U-17, U-20 and U-23 levels. Paulo’s represented the Brazil national squad since 2011. He’s already made more than 20 appearances as the team’s first-choice midfielder.
