Lucas Neill is an Australian defender, born on 9 March 1978 in Sydney.
Lucas signed his first professional contract with the English side Millwall in 1995 where he made a total of 13 goals in 152 appearances during a six-year spell. The longest serving player at the club as of 2001, Neill moved to Blackburn Rovers where he spent another six years of his career amassing 188 appearances. In between 2007 and 2009, Neill played for West Ham United and in the 2009/10 season, he found himself at Everton.
In January 2010, Neill left England for Turkey and joined the Turkish heavyweights Galatasaray. In the following season he signed a deal with an Emirati side Al Jazira and in August 2012 Lucas moved to Al Wasl in the UAE Pro-League.
In 2013 Neill played for Sydney FC and Omiya Ardija. In 2014 he joined Watford on a short-term contract.
Lucas Neill has been called up to the Australia national team since 1996.
