A Spanish footballer Lucas Pérez Martínez plays as a midfielder for PAOK. He was born on 10 September 1988.
Lucas spent his youth career at academies of different Spanish clubs. The first academy he joined was Alavés, where he stayed until he was invited to trial at Montañeros. After all the preliminary tests had been passed, the young player was drafted into the club’s youth department. Martínez became one of the most promising juniors in the youth team. Nevertheless, the last years of his youth career passed at the academy of Órdenes.
In 2007, the midfielder was ready to perform at the senior level, so when he was offered to join Atlético Madrid, he took the proposal without any hesitation. Lucas joined the reserve team and stayed there during the whole spell, without making a single appearance for the main squad. In 2009, the midfielder moved to Rayo Vallecano, playing mostly for the reserves. In 2010, Martínez made 7 appearances for Rayo Vallecano. In 2011, he signed a deal with Karpaty Lviv, where he played before being sent on loan to Dynamo Kyiv in 2013.
Upon returning from the spell Lucas moved to a Greek side PAOK on permanent basis.
