Gustavo Lucas Domingues Piazón, better known as Lucas Piazón, is an attacking midfielder from Brazil under contract with Chelsea. He also played for the Brazil national U15 and U17 teams. Lucas is the 2011 South American U17 Champion. He played for Atlético Paranaense, Coritiba and São Paulo youth teams.
In March 2011, Chelsea managed to agree on the transfer terms of one of the most gifted Brazilian footballers. However, he signed a contract only when he came of age on 20 January 2012, and became the Chelsea youth team player. In 2013 he was sent on loan to Malaga and later on to Vitesse. In the summer 2014 Piazon was loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Piazón played for the Brazil national U15 team, aided the team to win second place in the South American U15 Football Championship and became the top goalscorer.
In 2011, Lucas was invited to the South American U17 Championship. The young Brazilian was one of those who contributed greatly to Selecao victory in that tournament.
Later in 2011, he participated in the FIFA U17 World Cup, where the Brazil team finished fourth.
