Lucian Burdujan is a Romanian striker playing for a Ukrainian football club Chornomorets Odesa. He was born on February 18, 1984 in Piatra Neamţ, Romania.
In 2002 Lucian started his career as a professional footballer at his hometown side Cheahlăul. All in all he participated in 43 games and scored 8 times during a two-year stint at the club.
In 2004 Lucian received an offer to join a Romanian club Rapid Bucureşti. During this period Lucian was quite a frequent starter winning the coach’s respect by high quality of football the striker delivered. Lucian scored 18 goals in 69 games for Rapid Bucuresti during a four-year stint at the club.
In 2008 Burdijan switched to SC Vaslui penning a long-term contract. Throughout two and a half years with the side the striker remained a key element in Vaslui’s offensive line. He played 54 games scoring 10 goals for the club.
In 2011 Lucian set for Steaua Bucuresti where he played for half a year appearing only in 5 games with an only goal scored. FC Chornomorets Odesa from Ukraine became interested in the striker in the summer of 2011. The Ukrainian side made a generous bid for the player and Steaua decided to release him. Since then Lucian plays for Chornomorets in the Ukrainian Premier League.
Lucian Burdujan played in the Romania U21 team over a period from 2003 to 2005 amassing 13 international appearances.
