Luciano Héctor Becchio is a striker of Norwich City. He was born on 28 December 1983 in Córdoba, Argentina.
Luciano’s career took off in the academy of Argentinian side Boca Juniors in 2002. The footballer managed to obtain an Italian citizenship and sign for a European club.
Becchio penned his first professional contract with Spanish side Mallorca B and netted five goals in 29 fixtures during two years. From 2004 till 2008, the striker performed for Murcia, Terrassa, Barcelona B and Mérida and fired over 30 goals during his spells.
In July 2008, Luciano sealed a three-year deal with English side Leeds United. The footballer’s pace and goalscoring flair helped him to clinch a regular place in the starting XI at once. In December 2011, Becchio extended his contract with the club and found the net 72 times in 184 fixtures as of December 2012. In January 2013 Luciano moved to Premier League side Norwich.
