Luciano Narsingh is a midfielder of PSV. He was born on 13 September 1990 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Luciano’s career took off in the academy of Ajax, where he spent several years. However, the footballer’s performance did not impress the coaching staff and Narsingh moved to the youth team of Heerenveen, as the scouts of the club discovered the player’s real talent.
In 2008 the midfielder penned a contract with the new team till 30 June 2013 and was given number 24 shirt. His professional début came on 29 October 2008 in the home match against Vitesse. The footballer managed to find the net only two years after his maiden appearance, on 12 December 2010, when he went on to the net of Twente in the hammering 6-2 victory of Heerenveen. Narsingh featured in 62 games and amassed 13 goals during his spell with the club.
In the summer 2012, Luciano completed a move to PSV.
In February 2012, the midfielder was offered to join the Netherlands national team. On 7 May 2012, he was included into the provisional 36-men roster for Euro 2012. After Narsingh’s unofficial début in the game against Bayern Munich, Bert van Marwijk put Luciano on the final 23-men list for the tournament. The player’s first official international appearance came on 30 May 2012 in the 2-0 victory over Slovakia.
