Lucky Issy Idahor is professional footballer from Nigeria currently playing as a forward for Zorya Luhansk FC. He was born on August 30, 1980 in Benin City, Nigeria.
Lucky Idahor’s professional career started in 1998 at Mobil Pegasus. Later the footballer played for such clubs as Plateau United and Iwuanyanwu Nationale.
In 2000 the striker joined the Ukrainian club of Dynamo Kyiv FC. It took him some time to break into the first team, but finally he made it. Together with Dynamo Kyiv FC Lucky Idahor won the Commonwealth of Independent States Cup in 2002, the Ukrainian Cup of 2002/2003 and became the runner-up in the 2001/2002 Ukrainian Premier League. However, he never turned into a regular player.
In 2003 Lucky Idahor moved to Vorskla Poltava FC and stayed there for one season, having scored 5 goals in 14 matches. Afterwards the footballer performed for such clubs as Inter Baku FC (2004-2006) and Karpaty Lviv FC (2006-2007). In 2007 the striker signed up with Tavriya Simferopol SC for 4 years. He took part in 122 games and netted 37 goals for the squad and won the Ukrainian Cup of 2009/2010.
In 2012 Lucky Idahor was signed by Zorya Luhansk FC.
In 1999 Lucky Idahor started to play for the Nigeria National Football Team.
