Luigi Giorgi is an Italian footballer born on 19 April 1987 in Ascoli Piceno, Italy. Currently playing for Novara, he can perform both as midfielder and defender.
Luigi spent his younger days playing for a hometown club Ascoli and in 2005 he joined senior side of his feeder club. Stuck on the bench during the 2005/06 season, he then moved on loan to Serie C2 club Foligno Calcio where he ended the 2006/07 campaign with 26 games for his temporary club.
His brilliant display at Foligno left good impressions on Ascoli and young hopeful soon moved back to Serie B club. He brought out his full potential scoring 6 goals in 91 appearances for Ascoli.
In 2011, Giorgi enjoyed even better fortune signing for Serie A side Novara. During the 2011/12 season, he had 10 games with Novara before being sent on loan to Siena.
On 30 August 2012, Luigi Giorgi was loaned to Sicilian Serie A club Palermo in exchange for Swedish forward Agon Mehmeti. Another loan spell with Atalanta followed.
