Luis Caballero

Luis Nery Caballero is a forward of Paraguayan origin who plays for Krylia Sovetov. He was born on 22 April 1990 in Asunción, Paraguay.

From 2005 to 2009 Luis played for the youth team of Olimpia, subsequently signing a professional contract with the Paraguayan club. In October 2009 an injury sidelined him, and he had to sit out for half a year. During his 2009-2012 spell at Olimpia the footballer registered 62 outings and scored 17 goals.

In 2012 Caballero switched to the Russian side Krylia Sovetov. In July 2012 he made his Russian Premier League debut in the match against Terek.

In 2009 Luis was called up to the Paraguay U20 squad for 4 games. Since 2011 he has been selected for the Paraguay national team.
