Luís Pedro is a striker of Botev Plovdiv. He was born on 27 April 1990 in Luanda, Angola.
When Luís was a child, he moved to the Netherlands with his family, which gave the future footballer an opportunity to join the academy of MVV. Pedro trained in the youth system of the club till 2006, when he was noticed by Feyenoord scouts. The striker performed for the youth squad of the new team till he was offered to make a senior start in 2008.
In the summer 2008, Luís sealed his first professional contract with Feyenoord. However, the footballer did not manage to clinch a place in the starting XI and usually came on as a substitute. Pedro made nine appearances for the club in the 2008/2009 season.
In the summer 2009, the management decided to send the striker on loan to Excelsior so that he could gain more playing practice. Luís amassed ten goals in 17 fixtures for the temporary team during his spell.
In 2010, the footballer’s services were secured by Go Ahead Eagles, which needed a striker like him. Pedro took part almost in every match for the new club and managed to fire 14 goals in 27 games during one season.
In 2011, Luís’s performance drew the attention of Eredivisie side Heracles Almelo. In the summer the same year, the player sealed a deal with the team and found the net one time in 16 fixtures as of November 2012. In 2013 he moved to Bulgaria and joined Botev Plovdiv.
From 2008 till 2009, Pedro was capped eight times and contributed three goals for the Netherlands national U-19 squad.
