Luke O’Neill is a defender of Burnley. He was born on 20 August 1991 in Slough, England.
Luke graduated from the academy of Leicester City and penned his first professional contract with the club in 2008. The footballer spent two years with ‘The Foxes’ and sealed a loan deal with Tranmere Rovers, where he made four appearances during his spell.
In 2011, O’Neill completed a temporary move to Kettering Town and netted two goals in 19 fixtures for the team during six months. In the summer the same year, the defender put pen to paper of a permanent contract with Mansfield Town, where he fired three goals in 43 games during one season.
In 2012, Luke transferred to Burnley, but failed to come on the pitch for the new club as of January 2013.
From 2007 till 2008, the footballer was capped nine times for the England national U-17 squad.
