Luke Wilkshire showed his promise at regional level in youth clubs as Shellharbour, Wollongong Wolves and Albion Park. Luke is a right back. He was born on October 2, 1981 in Wollongong, Australia.
In 1998, footballer relocated to the UK and signed a contract with the Middlesbrough, for which he played 22 matches, but didn’t manage to find a target. During 2003-2006 period Wilkshire performed for Brispol City, showing an active and confident display, and managing 17 goals in 110 matches. Later he moved to the Dutch side Twente where he was on target 5 times in 59 games.
From 2008 to 2014 he represented Dynamo Moscow in the Russian Premier League. In 2011 Wilkshire won the silver medal of the AFC Asian Cup. In 2014 the player switched for Feyenoord.
Luke Wilkshire also plays for the Australia national football team.
