Luke Williams is a striker of Middlesbrough. He was born on 11 June 1993 in Middlesbrough, England.
In 2007, Luke joined the academy of local Middlesbrough and began to perform for the junior squad of the club. The footballer managed to get ready for a professional start and drew the attention of various English teams. In 2009, the management of ‘Smoggies’ offered Williams to pen his first senior contract in order to keep the young talent. The striker was happy about possible chances and accepted the offer without hesitation. At first, Luke was not given much playing time, because he had to adapt to the new atmosphere, but he managed to gain the head coach’s confidence, which helped the footballer to make 20 appearances and find the net two times as of January 2013.
From 2009 till 2010, Williams featured in five games for the England national U-17 squad. From 2010 till 2012, he was capped eight times and contributed one goal for the national U-19 team.
