Magomed Ozdoyev was born on November 5, 1992 in stanitsa Ordzhonikidzevskaya, Ingush Republic, Russia. Currently plays a holding midfielder for FC Lokomotiv Moscow.
Magomed started his football career in the youth team of FC Angusht Nazran. At the age of 15 he left for Grozny to join the local FC Terek, where he spent a season in the reserve side of the club. In 2009, the young player was scouted for FC Dynamo Kyiv.
In February 2010, Ozdoyev signed a contract with Lokomotiv Moscow. In spring he spent 10 matches for the youth squad whereupon took part in the first side’s training camp and scored a goal during a friendly match with Rubin Kazan. His official debut for the main team occurred on 10 July. Then Ozdoyev came on in the 87th minute of the Russian Premier League match against FC Anzhi Makhachkala. On April 17, 2011 Magomed netted his first goal for Lokomotiv. It was the 82nd minute of the 5th round match of the 2011/12 Russian Premier League season, Lokomotiv Moscow hosting FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod, when Ozdoyev’s distant shot built a lead for the Muscovites and set the final 1-0.
In September 2011, Magomed prolonged his contract with the club till 2015.
Ozdoyev was one of the candidates for participation in the UEFA Euro 2012, but then the player was not included in the final squad of the Russia national football team.
