Manuel Jesús Arana Rodríguez is a Spanish right winger currently playing for Recreativo de Huelva.
Arana started out his football grooming at his hometown club Real Betis before joining the reserve team of the club in 2003. After 20 games for the reserves he moved to Castellón where he initially played for the reserves and reached the first team in the 2007/08 season.
Arana moved to Racing de Santander in June 2009 signing a four-year agreement. His first game for the new side happened to be a fixture against Rayo Vallecano on 30 August. Manuel’s first goal for the Cantabrian side was scored when he knocked the ball into the net against Málaga. He scored 3 more goals throughout the season having played a total of 1749 minutes. Owing to his effort the club managed to maintain their position in La Liga. In 2012, Arana signed for Rayo Vallecano.
During the winter transfer window Manuel joined Segunda side Recreativo de Huelva.
