Manuel Pasqual is a left defender of ACF Fiorentina. He was born on 13 March 1982 in San Dona di Piave, Italy.
His professional career started in 1999 when he signed his first contract with Derthona. Manuel made 15 appearances during his debut season in 1999/00.
In 2000 the player joined Pordenone football club where he played the whole 2000/01 season taking part in 30 matches and scoring once.
In 2001 Manuel started negotiating with Treviso. In summer 2001 they compromised an action and penned a long-term contract. Unfortunately, this was not the best time of Pasqual’s career. His play was moderate and Manuel made only 2 appearances during the season.
In 2002 despite the player’s unsuccessful previous season, Arezzo decided to sign the Italian. Team coaches didn’t have any doubts about Manuel’s potential and believed he could develop further. There he became an anchor player as a left back and played in 108 matches scoring 3 goals in Arezzo.
After 3 outstanding seasons with Arezzo, Pasqual was noticed by ACF Fiorentina. The club was looking for a reliable left back and Manuel was the goods. The negotiations went really fast as Fiorentina wanted to reseal the defensive line as quickly as possible. Manuel quickly became the indispensable player of starting eleven and took part in more than 220 matches of the team up to now.
In 2006 Pasqual was capped two times for the Italian national team.
