Marc Valiente Hernández was born in 1987 in Granollers, Spain. Currently he plays for Real Valladolid as a defensive midfielder.
He started his professional football career in Barcelona C in 2005 and then moved to Barcelona B. He made his debut in the game against CF Badalona in the 2006/07 Copa del Rey, when he substituted Juliano Belletti.
In July 2008 Marc Valiente joined Sevilla B and in 2009 he started to play for the first squad. That was his first experience in La Liga, but there he made only three appearances and couldn’t score a goal. Being a part of Sevilla he won the 2009/10 Spanish Cup.
In July 2010 he signed for Real Valladolid. At that time the team had just relegated to the second division.
Marc was called up for the Spain Under-19 and Under-20 national teams.
