Marco Benassi

Marco Benassi is a midfielder currently playing for Internazionale. He was brn in 1994 in Modena, Italy and began to play football at his local Modena F.C., where he stayed till January 2011, when he moved to F.C. Internazionale Milano. He was a youth team player and his side won Campionato Nazionale Primavera league and NextGen Series in 2011/12. As a part of the U-18 team he won the Berretti league.

In October 2012 Benassi was offered a five-year deal with Inter and his first team debut came in November 2012. That was a 0-3 loss at FC Rubin Kazan. His first Serie A match was a 2-0 victory over Pescara in January 2013 and a month later he marked the match against CFR Cluj with his first goal.

Benassi was called to compete and earned three caps at the 2013 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship qualification.
