Marco Biagianti is a midfielder for Livorno. He was born on 14 April, 1984 in Florence, Italy.
Marco’s youth career started in 2002 after he joined his hometown club Fiorentina. However, he was never to break into the first team of the feeder club as Fiorentina sent Biagianti on loan to Fano in 2003 and then to Chieti in 2004.
In 2005 Marco signed a permanent contract with Pro Vasto from lower division. Marco became a very important player for the new club, making appearances in almost every match. In the 2005/06 Biagianti played 44 matches and scored 1 goal for Pro Vasto.
In 2006 Marco was bought by Serie A club Calcio Catania and earned the captain’s armband with time. During seven years with the club Biagianti made 147 appearances. In 2013 the experienced midfielder switched for Livorno.
Since 2009 Marco Biagianti has been called up to represent the Italy national team but has never been let on the pitch.
