A Spanish footballer Marcos Tébar Ramiro was born on 7 February 1986 in Madrid.
Ramiro spent the last years of his junior career at the youth department of Real Madrid. At the academy he finished his formation and got ready to perform on a senior level.
In 2005, the midfielder was selected for the B team of Real Madrid. But hardly had he put pen to a paper of pro contract, when he was loaned out by Rayo Vallecano. The player was supposed to get more playing time at the temporary club and to earn enough experience for the further performance at Real Madrid. The spell with Rayo Vallecano was lined with one goal scored in 17 matches. After coming back to the B team of Real, Tébar Ramiro started to make frequent appearances. Altogether, he made 94 appearances and netted four goals for the reserves. In 2009, the footballer earned his first opportunity on the club’s main team. He appeared only once and was sent on loan to Girona FC.
Marcos appeared nine times during the temporary deal with Girona, but it turned to be enough for him to reveal all his potential. After the spell came to an end, the club’s management made the move permanent. Marcos Tébar Ramiro was one of the squad’s anchor players. He had made 118 appearances for the team.
In the summer 2013 Tébar signed for newly promoted Primera outfit Almería. One year later he moved to Brentford.
On international level, the defender used to represent the Spain national youth squad at U-16 and U-17 levels. In total, Marcos made 12 appearances for the national side from 2001 to 2003.
