Marcus Pedersen is a footballer from Norway. He is a Vitesse footballer, currently loaned to Barnsley. He was born in 1990 in Hamar, Norway, and graduated from local club HamKam. He made his first team debut when he was 14 years old in a friendly, though he wasn’t used often and in January 2009 Pedersen moved to Strømsgodset.
At the end of August 2010 he was bought by the Dutch side Vitesse for a fee of £1,2 million signing a four-year deal. A 5-1 win against VVV-Venlo he marked with two debut goals for Vitesse. Pederson had several injuries and that’s why he wasn’t used in starting eleven and in February 2012 he was loaned to Vålerenga, a football club in Norway. There he played 15 matches and scored 8 goalsand then made a move to Denmark, where he joined Odense Boldklub on a loan deal, with an option to make that move permanent. His first match for Odense was in September 2012. In the season 2013/2014 Pedersen was loaned to Barnsley.
Marcus Pedersen represented the Norway national team at all youth levels starting from U15.
