Marek Suchý is a Czech defender who represents FC Spartak Moscow. He was born on 29 March 1988 in Prague, Czechoslovakia.
In 1993, he began training at Slavia Prague football academy and became one of the most prospective youngsters of the academy, so he was called up to the first team of the junior squad. In 2005, the club offered him a professional contract and Marek went on his football career with the club. From 2005 to 2010 Suchý made 110 appearances for the team and scored one goal. He was an ever-present on the pitch, taking part in all paramount matches.
The scouts of FC Spartak Moscow kept an eye on the young defender for nearly two years before the club’s management decided to buy him. Spartak signed the player on a long-term contract and Marek became an established part of the club. From 2010 to 2012 he appeared in 65 games and netted 4 goals.
From 2004 to 2010 Marek was regularly called up to the Czech Republic U20 and U21 national teams, making 25 appearances. In 2010, he celebrated his debut in the Czech Republic senior national football team.
