Mark Beevers is a defender of Millwall. He was born on 21 November 1989 in Barnsley, England.
In 2001, Mark came to a trial in the academy of Sheffield Wednesday and showed impressing performance in a demonstration game, which earned him a chance to pass several final tests and get admitted to the youth system of the club. It took the footballer six years to take his skills to the new level and get ready for a professional start.
In 2007, Beevers got a lot of positive reviews from the coaching staff of the academy and earned an opportunity to pen his first professional contract with Sheffield Wednesday. The defender began to make occasional appearances for the team, but his diligence and workmanship helped him to clinch a regular place in the starting XI in no time. Mark took part more than in 100 fixtures for the club during three years and went on loan to Milton Keynes Dons in 2011. The footballer netted one goal in 14 games for the team and returned to his parent Sheffield Wednesday, where he took his tally to 140 matches and two goals by 2012. In October 2012, Beevers was loaned out to Millwall, where he fired one goal in 15 fixtures during his spell and got a chance to seal a permanent deal with ‘The Lions’ in January 2013. The defender used the opportunity and officially transferred to the new club, which was glad to welcome the talented player into the fold.
