Mark James Halstead is a goalkeeper of Blackpool. He was born on 17 September 1990 in Blackpool, England.
Mark spent the last year of his junior career in the academy of Blackpool, where he managed to reach the level of a professional player. In 2009, the footballer penned his first senior contract and joined the first squad of the club, but was sent on loan to Burscough, which saw the keeper make six appearances during six months.
In 2010, Halstead sealed a temporary deal with Hyde and took part in eight fixtures for the team during half a year. In the summer the same year, the player was loaned out to Barrow, but featured only in one match during his spell. At the beginning of 2011, the management of Blackpool sent Halsted to Kettering Town, where the goalie made three appearances. In the summer 2011, Mark was loaned out to Stockport County and took part in four fixtures during six months.
In the summer 2014 Halstead penned a permanent deal with Shrewsbury Town.
