Mark Hudson is a defender of Cardiff City. He was born on 30 March 1982 in Guildford, England.
In 2000, Mark penned his first professional contract with Fulham after one year in the academy of the club. Despite making solid and steady display for the junior squad of ‘The Cottagers’, the footballer failed to come on the pitch with the main team and went on loan to Oldham Athletic in 2003. Hudson took part in 15 fixtures during his spell and completed a temporary move to Crystal Palace, where he made 14 appearances. In the summer 2004, the defender decided to seal a permanent deal with ‘The Eagles’ and started to show impressing performance for the club, which helped him to become the pivot in no time. Mark netted seven goals in 106 matches for Crystal Palace during four years and developed his best defensive qualities.
In 2008, the footballer transferred to Charlton Athletic and fired three goals in 43 fixtures for the team during one season.
In the summer 2009, Welsh side Cardiff City secured Hudson’s services and saw him take over a captain’s armband shortly after. The defender made 132 appearances and found the net 11 times for ‘The Bluebirds’ as of January 2013.
