Mark-Jan Fledderus is a midfielder of Roda JC. He was born on 14 December 1982 in Coevorden, Netherlands.
Mark-Jan’s youth career took off in local CSVC Coevorden, from where the footballer moved to Emmen. In the summer 2002, Fledderus penned his first professional contract with Heerenveen and made only five appearances for the club during two seasons.
In January 2004, Mark-Jan was sent on a six-month loan to Stormvogels Telstar, where he took part in ten fixtures during his temporary spell.
In 2004, the footballer transferred to Groningen and was given a place in the main team of the club. Fledderus featured in 88 matches and found the net nine times during four seasons.
In the summer 2008, the midfielder signed for Heracles Almelo on a free transfer. Mark-Jan was not a regular of the team, but he could always substitute any midfielder if the head coach sent him to the pitch. The footballer made 72 appearances and fired ten goals for the club during three years.
In the summer 2011, Fledderus transferred to Roda and scored one goal in 23 games as of November 2012.
