Mark Janssen is a striker of RKC Waalwijk. He was born on 10 May 1992 in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
Mark’s career took off in local amateur RKVV Brabantia, but the footballer moved to the academy of Tilburg side Willem II at the age of 12. Janssen performed for various youth teams of the club and took part in several junior competitions before he managed to clinch a place in the main squad.
In 2010, 18-year-old striker penned a three-year contract with RKC Waalwijk, where he continues to play at the position of a striker up till now. Mark made his début for the club on 18 January 2011 in the KNVB Cup match against Achilles ‘29, which ended in a 5-3 victory for the player’s club mainly due to his two goals.
Half a year later, on 13 August 2011, Janssen made his first Eredivisie appearance in the away 1-0 loss to PSV Eindhoven. The striker made seven league appearances for RKC Waalwijk as before being loaned to Helmond Sport in the summer 2013.
